When prostitute Pari moves into an apartment with her mute son, she befriends Sara, a seemingly perfect middle-class wife, drawing out the desires and secrets hidden behind Sara’s demure, refined exterior. Meanwhile Babak, a well-meaning musician, finds himself caught between a woman and her fiancé as he tries to protect her from the devastating consequences of a drunken night together.

As their stories of sex, drugs and corruption converge, the unlikely allies must work together to navigate the treacherous restrictions of Iranian society.
