Jorquera studied journalism and film at Universidad ARCIS, where he made two 16mm shorts: EL DÍA and GEMIDOS Y SILENCIOS. Later, he worked as producer and assistant director in different features. MI ÚLTIMO ROUND is his debut as director and scriptwriter.
