Amrou is a writer, director and performer. They have written/directed three short films, which have included commissions from NOWNESS, the BBC & the BFI, and have had their work broadcast on BBC 4. Run(a)way Arab played at BFI Flare and Outfest LA. Together with producer Savannah James-Bayly, they have three TV series in development, and Amrou is currently writing a memoir about intersectionality called Unicorn.
