Patrick D’ Assumçao started his career in his thirties on the stage when he enrolled on a theatre course. Since then, a series of roles followed from classical theatre ( Molière, Shakespeare, Racine, Musset, Goldoni ) to modern repertoire ( Sartre, Noren, Fréchette, Le Roy Jones, Zweig, Camus). Patrick made his first step into film in 2013 with Alain Guiraudie’s STRANGER BY THE LAKE, where he landed one of the lead roles as Henri. Patrick’s performance has been hailed by audiences and film festivals alike, winning him the award for Best Supporting Actor at the Moulins Film Festival.
