As a founding member of the Royal National Theatre, Jacobi has enjoyed a successful career both on stage and screen. Both a recipient of a tony-award for his role in 1984’s Much Ado About Nothing and a Primetime Emmy for his role in 1988’s The Tenth Man, he is highly regarded as both an accomplished actor and a British cultural icon. He has been in a civil partnership with his long-term partner Richard Clifford since 2006.
